WOW, what a fall and winter!
The fall was a full Covid Lockdown. (And a reminder to not "Lick Strange Objects")
Lockdown ended as we moved into Winter! (We did have a brief move back into a partial lockdown (level 2) for a month...)

Now it is Spring!
We have been out and about...
As we were driving to Ohope Beach, we got a view of White Island, (the volcano that errupted and some people died back in Dec 2019). Steam is still venting!

We also went on a bike ride through an old Goldmine train tunnel...

The trail seems easy enough...
Then we start seeing bridges...

Then Stairs! (Remember, you can't have a hiking trail in New Zealand without STAIRS!)
And MORE stairs....
The Waterfall through the trees (We talked to people who climbed to the very top, but you can't see over the fall so it is just a stream flowing over the rocks up there... (more stairs if you want to...)
And of course, stairs back down!
And a bench to rest on...
Things are getting back to normal here (the "new" normal, is just a bit different, don't you think?!?!)...
We are enjoying our time here!
We love the missionaries!
